If you missed out on the short teaser a few days ago, don’t worry – the full trailer for Crazy Rich Asians, starring Malaysia’s own Henry Golding, is finally here.

Based on the best-selling book by Singaporean Kevin Kwan, Crazy Rich Asians is directed by Jon M. Chu, who’s helmed movies such as Step Up 2 and Jem and the Holograms. The two main characters are played by Fresh Off The Boat’s Constance Wu as Rachel Chu, and Henry Golding as her secretly-rich boyfriend Nick Young. Datuk Michelle Yeoh is also a part of the movie, playing the role of Nick’s controlling and pompous mother.

Shot in KL and Singapore last year, the movie is set to hit the big screens this coming August. That means that you’ll still have time to read the book (and its two sequels) if you haven’t already.

Only 9 shopping days left till Christmas!
