Future Music Festival Asia 2014 is just around the corner, and we’re completely pumped up! Music festivals are a great way to enjoy good music with great company – where unleashing your artsy sense of style can’t ever be a little ‘too much’. With its ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ theme this year, we decided to take it up a notch and let the inner feline in you shine with this easy tigeress make-up tutorial.

Things you will need:
+ Basic skin make-up
+ Eyeshadow palette with orange & white.
+ Eyeliner (both pencil and liquid)
+ Make-up setting spray

Step One: Start off with an orange eyeshadow to colour around your eyes and forehead area. Make sure to leave a eye mask-like area around your eyes, to fill in later on. You can use any shade of orange, or even blend in two or three shades to make it more realistic. For this tutorial, I used just one.

Step Two: Fill in the eye-mask area with a white shadow. You can blend it into the orange, to make it look more realistic. Due to this style of make-up being so intense, you don’t have to paint your entire face to pull off a convincing feline look.

Step Three: Use a pencil eyeliner (either black or grey) and draw on tiger stripes. This is where it gets tricky. You can start off with the forehead by drawing inverted ‘V’s with messy, hashed lines. After which, you can gauge how to continue the rest of your look using the same method but just by doing curvy stripes across your forehead, and eye are. Make sure the stripes are not perfectly identical and they don’t even have to be neat.

Step Four: Darken the stripes once you are happy with the end result by going over it with liquid eyeliner in black. Add little jagged lines and dashes around and in between your tiger stripes. This is optional, but it makes the whole look more realistic.

Step Five: Once you’re done with the stripes, all you need it to add in some little minor details! Fill in your eyebrows with black eyeshadow, draw on some crazy cat eyeliner, a cute feline nose and whisker dots, and you’re done and ready to be a party animal. Rave on!
