Mimpikita’s ‘The New Lebaran’ 2014 Collection
There is no surprise here that I am once again taken away by another one of Mimpikita’s collections. This Raya, Mimpikita created an array of beautiful, colourful garments suitable for anyone looking to impress or simply just to dazzle! As stated by its creative director/head designer Nurul Zulkifli, “It’s time to leave your inhibitions at the door Download karaoke songs. A new Lebaran fashion tribe has arrived. Pop some colour. Pack a print punch. This is the collection to suit everyone. Get creative, it’s time to shine this EID”.
In ‘The New Lebaran’ collection, we can see a generous amount of the softest pastel shades, delicate printed silks and iridescent metallics spread across kurungs, day dresses and wide-legged trousers 조선명탐정 각시투구꽃의 비밀. The mixed palette of natural tones and bright hues include lilac, almond, berry pink, powder blue and saffron, which all together infuse a harmonious and somewhat optimistic colour scheme to the garments, enriching the collection with a festive aura.
Comprising 22 designs, the collection embodies the beautiful amalgam of modern Malay Glamour, an element of sophistication and a pop of colour 윈도우 가상머신. It was extremely difficult having to pick just two of my favourites from the many looks I adore/want to wear for this year’s Raya. However duty calls! The first, I feel, exudes elegance through its bejewelled neckline, delicate lace cuffs, asymmetric cut of the skirt and harmonious colour scheme Download korail. In general, I’m loving the simplicity of the overall look with the subtle details at the edges of the top as it achieves a feminine and luxurious feel, making the wearer look and feel sophisticated.
As you can imagine, the second look instantly caught my eye as I was browsing through the designs. Whether it be the shimmering metallic top, or the bright (but thankfully not too bright) orange skirt, this look screams ‘glamour’ Worship! Because of the somewhat neutral tone of the metallic top, I can definitely see myself pairing it with various black, white, and/or nude coloured skirts and trousers, and thus I would get my money’s worth out of it. With regards to the skirt, the sleek silhouette and of course the colour makes it an item I would gladly welcome into my wardrobe.
Rico Rinaldi’s Summeraya 2014 Collection
For this year’s Raya, Rico Rinaldi brings together the warmth of the festive season along with his dose of uniqueness into creating a wonderful ‘Summeraya’ collection – the fourth installment since it was first introduced back in 2010 천국의 문. The collection displays a fascinating layering of fabrications as well as a variety of cuts – particularly for the skirts, giving each and every garment a distinctive and unique silhouette; hence making them distinguishable.
For this particular collection, Rico Rinaldi drew his inspiration from the baju kurung modern and baju kurung Kedah battleground 다운로드. In working towards a wholesome collection that captures his personal style whilst appreciating and sustaining traditional features, he has carefully picked out various features from the baju kurungs and combined them with modern and glamorous elements to achieve a young and chic look, with the addition of a modern twist to spice it up.
The Summeraya collection is extremely versatile, not only catering for women of all ages but also consisting 20 complete ensembles suitable for numerous occasions Download multiple notes. The intricate beading of floral and abstract motives exude glamour throughout the collection, alongside the use of plain crepe silk, exquisite lace and glittery sequins, which all serve to inject a fresh and youthful feel to the garments.
The price range for the collection spans between RM499 and RM680, and will be available in July at Modvier Boutique, located at 6, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur; or online from June 6th at www.shop.ricorinaldi.com.
Once again having to choose between so many lovely pieces was understandably another tricky situation. Personally, I can imagine myself in the first look more than in the second, due to the colours and the fact that it consists separates (since we all know how much I love versatile clothing). I’m also loving the amount of beading on the top – not too much nor too little, balancing out perfectly with the sequin striped skirt. On top of this, I adore the vertical line down the middle of the top as I feel it creates the illusion of length, elongating the torso and giving the wearer a poised appearance.
In my opinion, the second look would probably be more suitable for someone between 30-50 years old but nonetheless I still find it absolutely gorgeous! I’m a huge fan of the colourful beads on the sleeve as it not only adds texture to the overall look but incorporates a subtle dash of colour which keeps the dress from looking too muted. Apart from this, another feature I love is the layering of the silver/grey fabric over the black as I feel it creates such an interesting and unique neckline, and thus would be an ideal look for anyone who wants to stand out this Raya.
