Hope you’ve all got your outfits planned and moolah ready for this weekend because Chic POP Street Market 7 is here. Both regular and new Chic POP goers will be delighted with the new additions to the Street Market so without further ado, here’s your guide to Chic POP 7.
SWAG
One of the many reasons I love Chic POP Street Market is – the freebies. Even if you don’t buy anything, you won’t leave home empty-handed. Don’t miss your chance because early birds will get to receive a variety of goodies from Strip, Kao, Dooodolls, Parkson and Gap. There will be tank tops, waxing and manicure vouchers, notepads, keychains and shopping vouchers. So do drop by the registration booth located in front of The Bee, jot down some details and they’re all yours.
Big Spender Contest
What’s better than getting rewarded for shopping? With our ‘Big Spender Contest‘, the three biggest spenders of the day will each walk away with a bottle of Escada Desire Me Eau de Parfum worth RM220 each. So hold on to those receipts and once you’re done shopping, send them for tabulation at the registration counter.
Style Shot Contest
The latest addition to our Street Market is the Style Shot Contest. Dress your best because we have prizes for you. The winner will receive a bottle of Escada Desire Me Eau de Parfum and Cotton On vouchers worth RM300. Either get spotted by our Style Scouts or upload what you wore at Chic POP 7 to our Facebook page – do note though that the full-body shot must be taken at the event only. You will have until Sunday 6pm to upload your shots, following that, a whole week to vote for your best-liked!
Chic Charity
It’s not just fun and games at Chic POP 7; do your part by purchasing something from our Chic Charity corner. Thanks to the gracious donations from readers and friends, brand new tops and dresses from notable brands like MNG, Stussy and Topshop have found new homes while all profits will be donated to Mercy Malaysia for their Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.
Games
If you’re not a preloved shopper, fret not, here’s a way you can contribute. Come join us at our Games booth to play the old-fashioned ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’ – except we won’t be bringing in a donkey but a mannequin instead, and in place of a tail is a brooch. There will be a small fee of RM5 to play but if you win, you get a prize! Like Chic Charity, all profits will be donated to Mercy Malaysia.
Say NO to Plastic Bags
As we all know, Saturday is ‘No Plastic Bag Day’ so we urge you shoppers to bring your own bag because vendors will not be providing plastic bags. You can either bring an eco bag, green bag, tote bag, or even a luggage if you think you’ll shop that much! Here’s our take on looking stylish while using reusable bags.
