In terms of trends, flowers are abloom and tie-dyes awash come summer. But, why limit our choices there? There are a bunch of other amazing prints that we can play around with and right now I’m actually toying around with the idea of getting my hands on StyleBreak’s Splash Collection for this season.

StyleBreak is an online store that sells tof-the-moment and quality limited edition items inspired from the runways, but minus the high price tag. Says the stylish designing duo of StyleBreak, Laureen Uy and Katrina Loring, “We decided to put up an online store because we wanted to share designs that are very trendy, but are not available here in the Philippines or simply too expensive.”
And for their latest offering, they’ve come up with Splash – hand-made cotton shirts, denim jeans, crisp polos with paint splats reminiscent of Jackson Pollock’s drip painting. “We saw it in several magazines and thought it was perfect for our summer collection: it’s bright, vibrant and outstanding,” shares Laureen.
Care for a little art attack this summer? Here are more photos from the Splash collection look book, styled by Laureen’s big sis and Tongue in Chic’s Super Stylista awardee Liz Uy:

So, what do you think of the collection? Would you wear this trend for summer?
