Amber Chia needs little introduction around these here parts. She first rose to fame in 2004 after being a finalist in the Guess Watches Timeless Beauty Contest. Since her start, Chia has proven to be a fixture on the local and international modeling scene amassing other titles under her belt such as host, ambassador and actress in that time.
With her wealth of knowledge, Chia is taking a leaf out of Yoda’s book and passing on her information to young aspiring Padawan models through Amber Chia Academy, a modeling and makeup academy helmed by the model herself.
Located at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya, Amber Chia Academy is a modeling and makeup academy founded by Chia. Utilizing the talents of co-founder Benjamin Toong, famed “catwalk guru” who was the head model trainer at the recent Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World Malaysia and coached Chia herself during her initial start as well as makeup artist guru Desmond Yoi who has over 16 years of experience in the makeup industry, the Academy will groom aspiring models to excel in both the physical and mental elements of the career demands.

All modeling course students will receive a free exclusively designed 5.5inch pair of high heels.
The modeling course fees range from RM1,688 to RM3,888 and the makeup course fee begins at RM699. Makeup courses are also available on both a full-time and part time basis.
