1. #PinkOctober Mania

#PinkOctober is still going strong and many Malaysians have joined in to show support and create awareness for breast cancer. Even shops around KL have come out to show support and raise funds for the cause. Take a look!

If you’re in the mood to shop for an investment piece, head on to Ralph Lauren Pavilion KL this month and shop their Pink Pony collection. Twenty-five percent of the sales from Pink Pony products and fifty percent of the Pink Pony Soft Ricky Bag go directly to the National Cancer Society. Invest in a designer piece and help a cause at the same time takes killing 2 birds with one stone to a different level.

    MYTEKSI

The thought of having to go for a breast examination is nerve-wrecking enough so to help you get there without you stressing on the KL traffic, MYTeksi has decided to partake in the cause by easing your journey! MYTeksi is an app that allows you to book a taxi and for every lady that chooses to go to the Breast Care Centre at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur to get a breast examination (mammogram, ultra-sound or even chemotherapy), you can get a RM10 cash rebate once you show your taxi booking from your phones.

    NEUBODI

DON’T throw away your old bras just yet! Collaborating with Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) and Free The Girls Association, Neubodi has decided to help you in getting rid of unwanted bras (clearing some closet space!) and the women going through this disease by funding the cause! Instead of throwing away your old bras, trade them in at Neubodi and get 20% off your new purchase along with a RM30 voucher. This way, you get new bras at a discounted price and you know that your old ones didn’t go to waste!

    REEBONZ

Facebook is a social media platform that you and everybody’s grandmother has, so there’s no excuse to not join the cause and help out. REEBONZ  has come up with a way to help raise funds for the Asia Breast Cancer Research Fund (ABCRF) and all it takes is to just like this post and each ‘like’ will be matched with RM2.50. So imagine getting 100 of your Facebook friends to like the post, you’d manage to help raise RM250 for the cause. It’s just a click on FB guys, so take a minute of your time and help out by making use of your Facebook popularity!

Any act of kindness, be it small or big, will be highly appreciated and remembered forever. So act now and do as much as you can to help the people around you!
