  2. FJ Benjamin Sale

It’s back and getting everyone geared up to go! The FJ Benjamin sales has always been one of the more coveted warehouse sales in town, providing a culmination of great brands with sinful prices under one roof.
Past sales have seen Guess, Raoul, La Senza and Gap apparel going for as much as 80% off original price. And there’s nothing wrong with the goods too! No damaged stocks, just past season’s.
Next week, it opens to public on 3rd and 4th May at Level 3, Bangsar Village II New Wing (above MPH bookstore), but lucky HSBC cardholders get a preview on Friday the 2nd.
This is going to be exciting, as Banana Republic and Celine are available this time as well.

  3. I Like Lacoste.

The elements that are really appealing are their sleek cuts and mod style. It’s one of those brands you buy that you know are classic and will never go out of style. Problem is, Lacoste’s prices don’t allow all of us to buy what we like at a whim!
Hence, yay for…

I really do. Have you ever hugged someone wearing a Lacoste shirt? It feels smooth, soft and amazing.

  7. Confessions of an Heiress

Before anyone faints from shock or wonders if they’ve accidentally stumbled onto a Paris Hilton site, fear not! Let me explain.
It started out as an internal joke, but I figured some closet Paris fan might be interested in getting their hands on her book “Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-In-Chic Peek Behind the Pose”. Published in 2004, perhaps said closet fan might already have a copy or two stashed somewhere around. Anyway, as you’ll notice, she completely stole our line! Nevermind that the book was published some four years ago… That’s just a minor detail really.
Someone suggested we add a tagline on our blog “Our name’s so cool, Paris stole it” (Hi Adrian!).

  8. A Different Sort of Super

Stumbled unto this site called Supermarket that supports only original designers and aren’t we all fans of that.
They’re not super cheap but you gotta give the designers credit ey?
Featuring pretty things from jewelry to prints and baby clothes, Supermarket will have you surfing and cooing even if you don’t intend to buy anything.
Check out these leet pop-out earrings by designer Melissa Borrell (i’ve never heard of her before this, have you? God i love the internet!)
Upon Googling her, she’s been featured by CoolHunting.com and ArtNewsChannel.net before so she’s no newbie to some coverage.
Borrell’s specialty seems to be her pop-out accessories that come attached to the metal plate its cut out from. All you have to do is pop it out carefully yourself, attach the pieces to enclosed ear hooks and wala! You were part of the design process.

  9. Richard Phillips for Jimmy Choo

I’ve never really harboured any intentions to own a pair of Jimmy Choos. Blasphemous right? I can already feel a few of my friends giving me the evil eye for saying so, but there! I’ve said it. Before anyone decides to hang me, I agree that the name’s synonymous with gorgeous, glamourous heels. I guess I don’t always want gorgeous, glamourous heels… but that’s another post altogether.
Having said that, I’ve was going through the SS08 shoe collection (I’ve been in a gladiator sandal phase lately and in my frantic search, no stone remains unturned. Even if I’m not as enthusiastic about this stone) when I chanced upon these Richard Phillips collaboration bags. Love! I know this is probably old news to some. It was after all made available at Jimmy Choo KLCC earlier in the year but I guess I don’t have to explain again why I’ve missed this.

  10. Pull and Bear College Roadshow Competition

Pull and Bear recently held a competition in ten different colleges in the Klang Valley in search of three students who best pulled off the Pull and Bear spirit, yet managing to retain their individual style. The competition, which is also in conjunction with their Spring/Summer 08 Collection, pulled in almost a thousand entries from colleges such as Metropolitan, Segi, Sunway, KDU, Sedaya, Taylor’s, APIIT, The One Academy, INTI and KBU.
I think was a great idea on Pull and Bear’s part, as college peeps are dressing better these days and it’s a great outlet for them to show off at least one day’s worth of their styling effort.
The top three people who could embody the brand’s spirit were to take home Pull and Bear shopping vouchers valued at RM1000, RM500 and RM300 respectively. Which is not too bad. It could be better/more though.
Five out of the six finalists were revealed in the 1 Utama outlet yesterday and each of them came out to strut their stuff best they could.
