STYLO Fashion Grand Prix is back for its third consecutive year to celebrate the upcming 12th Malaysian F1 Grand Prix Season. This year's theme is "Fashion to Art, Art to Fashion: The 7 Deadly Sins". We managed to get some style shots of the guests and also preview designs!
Where & Wear: Bangkok Street Snaps
To talk about Bangkok is to talk about one of the most fashion-forward cities in the Southeast Asian region. Home of the stylish threads at cheap prices, my first trip to Bangkok would prove to be an eye-opening experience. My peepers were wide opened at the amount of sights the city had to offer - not to discount the landscaped parks and architecture, but it was the teeming street-style that had my unwavering and unblinking attention.

With it varied style cultures and multifaceted fashion tribes; it’s a place where one gets fashionably inspired and loses all inhabitation when dressing. If I thought, my friends and I were daring at Barsonic on weekends, our outrageousness were nowhere near what the kids of Harajuku (which is one of my most favourite place on the planet right now) and Shibuya wore during weekdays! Gwen Stefani sure knew what she was talking about….

Since we knew that it was going to be a glorious day for fashion at the Chic POP Street Market, we acquired the services of two Style Scouts to roam the premise ready to capture the savvy. Seeing as we didn't want to overload you with pictures, we've spread out the style shots over four parts. You guys definitely did not disappoint, so without further ado, here they are.
Where & Wear: Yeah Yeah Yeahs Live! in Singapore
We know fans of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Karen O-fronted art rock band, always come to performances dressed to the nines so when the band held a live show in Singapore, we hunted down the most stylish people in the crowd!
Where & Wear: Green Room Presents 2manydjs (KL)
2manydjs, the Soulwax brothers from Belgium, tore up KL Live and the first Green Room series of the year with their unrelentless electro-rock mashups that were an "ear-gasmic" assault on the senses of each and every single person in the adoring crowd. The crowd was dressed to the nines for a rockin' good time and the Tongue in Chic Style Scout was at hand hunting down the most stylish folks!
Where and Wear: Las Mercedes y Tolon (Venezuela)
I've been away from Asia for the past three months, and have been placed in a faraway land, a land called Caracas in Venezuela. Venezuela, one of the countries on the north tip of the Latin American continent is quite a gem. Fashion here is completely different from what we in South East Asia are used to! Latin Americans, including Venezuelans, worships a different style Mecca. While for us in Asia, we love to seek inspirations from New York, Paris or London, Latin Americans love Spanish styles, hence, Zara and Bershka for the win here! The clothes here are also double of what you would pay back home but nevertheless, they still try to make the most of it. Here are the beautiful people of Caracas....

Last Thursday was another series of Mutant Mayhem private party at Palate Palatte. Although people came in for the music, the Tongue in Chic Style Scout snapped some funky styles that needed to be shown tothe rest of the world!

With local DJs Goldfish and Lapsap together with the electrifying duo, The Bloody Beetroots from Italy, we counted down to 2010 with 10 funky styles spotted at KL Live!
