Tongue in Chic in The New York Times!
A couple of months ago I received an email from a freelancer from the New York Times with queries about the shopping scene here in Kuala Lumpur. Miss Naomi Lindt is a travel and culture writer for The New York Times, Budget Travel and Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, among others. She's been living in Phnom Penh soaking in the culture and living a great, fruitful life one can only imagine and she wanted to talk to us!
U.O.X. Play
We blogged about the Chic Charity sale we were going to have at U.O.X. Play at Capsquare, and how we'd take donated clothes from girls to sell at RM5-15 a piece whereby all money goes to WAO (Women's Aid Organisation). What a success the first one was (Yes, we're continuing this)!

Our photowall at the Tongue in Chic launch at The Apartment on KLCC wasn't there just for show and take away! Our ambassadors told guests about the prizes they'd win if they took some awesome blossom pictures.
To be fair, I didn't pick any of the winners seeing I know half the people at the launch, so the Tongue in Chic Marketing Team did.
There are six winners in all - 3 winners of Estēe Lauder make up hampers, and 3 winners of Make Up Store make up course vouchers!

TiC Launch
Finally, some pictures and words to share with those of you who haven't read about the Tongue in Chic launch online already!
The week before the launch threw most of the staff in the office into a frenzy - preparing the designs for print, collecting all the dressed dollies back, locking down giveaways for our guests (you!) and ensuring all partners were sure of when to be where.
Tongue in Chic is Launching!

We’re finally launching this month and I’m super excited! In conjunction with our official launch, our new site (no more beta version!) will be going live on the www as well. To be held on 20th August at The Apartment in KLCC, Tongue in Chic’s launch will be starting at 7:30pm till your feet start killing you from all that fluttering about.
