TiC Pick: Adidas X Fafi Spring/Summer 2010 Collection
Adidas have come up with another collaboration just in time to end dready winter weather with Fafi for a fun Spring Summer 2010 collection.

TiC Pick: Alice in Wonderland
Believe me when I say that Alice in Wonderland brings you back to your childhood - where the world of imagination seems so real, you can almost touch it. For TiC Pick this week, we review the upcoming magical childhood sequel!

TiC Pick: Miss Selfridge Spring 2010
Every girl loves playing dress up and no matter how old you are, you're always putting on something that makes you feel differently about yourself. Be it to inject confidence, some sex appeal or to add a bit of drama to your persona, clothes play a huge role in transporting you into that state-of-mind.

TiC Pick: Valentine's Day Limited Edition Havaianas
Valentine's Day is cloyingly sweet in all its painted advertisers' glory and though flower, chocolates and expensive dinners are de riguer for the day, it's always more appealing to play the rebel and subvert the melodramatic romanticism. Though flip-flops might be a strange gift for Valentine's Day, key in the fact that it's Havaianas, not just any plain ol' slippers, and that it's of a limited edition design and you have yourself a winner!

TiC Pick: London Fashion Week Collaborations for Topshop
Though buying a Christopher Kane or Barbara Hulanicki (Biba) design may have been a pipe dream of many in the past, Topshop has played an instrumental part in making those dreams reality with their designer collaborations that enable the masses to get their hands on designer goods for-less. In light of the upcoming London Fashion Week primed to kick off on February 2010, Topshop has announced some mini-collections from designers showing during fashion week. With a mix of looks that cover the range of 'urban edge', one can only drool in lust and envy at the looks from Ann-Sofie Back, Jonathan Saunders and Ashish.

TiC Pick: Sonia Rykiel pour H&M
We first reported news of a Sonia Rykiel lingerie line for Swedish retail giants H&M over in our Fashion News from Around the World post, but today we take a closer look at the collection as it's our unanimous pick of the week!

TiC Pick: Rodarte for Target
This week, our editor had agreed on our pick and we’re off to unveil to you the Rodarte for Target Go International collection! The award winning Mulleavy sisters who also made it to our Top 10 Stylish Siblings list recently are bringing their delicate sensibility to a wider market with their collaboration with discount retail mogul, Target!

TiC Pick: Doc Martens
We've covered our collective love affair with Doc Martens quite extensively in the past. Yushan first offered up some styling options and Claudia highlighted it as the Icon of the Week and now we've found a shop that offers up a similar reproduction for a lower price. Come check out this week's TiC Pick featuring none other than those much-loved boots.

TiC Pick: Narciso Rodriguez Canvas Shift Dress
I've always found cocktail dresses to be one of the hardest to find. Too glamorous and it ends up in the realm of ball gowns and if there's insufficient glam, it becomes a casual day dress. That's why this Narciso Rodriguez canvas shift dress would be my pick for cocktail wear.

TiC Pick: Alexander McQueen Pelle Leather Booties
The Alexander McQueen Pelle Leather Booties have been seen on the soles of trend-setting young starlets like Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan since its first arrival in stores back in January. The same boots is not only making fashion headlines it's also causing a stir in the not-so-friendly section of the news; where Steve Madden is currently being sued for a too-similar recreation.

TiC Pick: Panel Bodycon Skirts
The Hervé Léger bodycon bandage dress was all the rage in 2008 as we covered in our previous TiC Pick. The close-fitting dress was certainly a beauty but not very viable if you weren't a skinny minny. Topshop adapted the trend and put their own spin on it in their panel bodycon skirts that were a hit with fashionistas far and wide.

TiC Pick: Halter Playsuits
I blame today's TiC Pick on the leggy blonde goddess that is Blake Lively. Or as my guy friend would put it so eloquently, "the tall hot one, not the stuck-up b*tch". During the summer in America, paparazzi frequently caught her wearing something I previously thought infantile, halter playsuits. She wore playsuits so often and so frequently that I couldn't help change my previous stance and adopt a new belief. Maybe they're not so bad after all!

TiC Pick: Pleated d'Orsay Pumps
Personally, I've never been a heels kind of girl, which I think my daddy's wallet appreciates very much. In fact, I only own one pair of heels. However, there are a few select pairs I adore and love to look at as works of art, rather than a mere accessory. One of them, is the Christian Louboutin Armadillo peep toe platforms.

TiC Pick: Tom Binns Designs
We've raved about Tom Binns intricate designs in our previous post, and we still can't get enough of his layered and multi-textured necklaces. Check out where in KL you can get a multi-layered necklace that won't cost you a bomb!

TiC Pick: Layered Tanks
Way back in 2007, I remember coming across this gorgeous layered Marc by Marc Jacobs tank in some Teen Vogue fashion spread. I then patiently awaited for it to come to our shores, but it never did. Or maybe I missed it. Either way, it wasn't hanging in my closet by the end of the season. And I got over it just fine, that is, until anything shredded, layered and texturized came high into fashion this year.

TiC Pick: Balmain studded heels
Back in March, the Balmain cupid shot an arrow into my heart and it's been a case of unrequited love ever since. The Balmain Crystal Studded Shoes have remained number one on my shoes list since it first premiered and although it's 5 months later, try as I may, I simply cannot forget them!

TiC Pick: Peplum
That strange looking little piece of fabric you see layered atop a skirt is definitely an acquired taste but my my, doesn't it complement a tiny waist! Fashion has been going through a revival for a while now so it was only a matter of time before they got to the peplum; a staple in the 1980s and early '90s.

TiC Pick: Harem Pants
Now, I know harem pants aren't a new trendspotting revelation (I have three black pairs alone!), but the truth is, it's difficult to find one of great quality. Due to it's slouchy nature, the harem pant is likely to look like pajamas or fisherman pants, which is why you need to make sure the ones you buy are of a slightly heavier material, with a little structure.

TiC Pick: Mesh Bodycon Dresses
Early in the season, Alexander Wang bowled us all over with a little black dress update, perfectly rendered with body con mesh. Albeit a tad risque, the body con Alexander Wang mesh dress gave the illusion of nudity without compromising classiness. And because of its statement-making nature, you really don't need to put a lot of thought into styling it.

TiC Pick: Cage Heels
Ever since YSL came out with their version of the cage heels for SS 09, we've seen them splashed in editorial spreads and fashion blogs everywhere. A wearable piece of modern art in its own right, they might snag your toes as you pull them on, but those grid lines are worth dying for anyway!
