DIY: Comme des Garçons Toe Shoes

I have kept this picture of Comme des Garçons' Toe Shoes from their F/W09 collection in my wish-list folder for a couple of months now and only yesterday did it finally dawn on me that I could actually attempt a similar design myself! So here it goes...

Pedro Spring/Summer 2010 (PH)

When Pedro first opened in Manila at SM Mall of Asia, I personally couldn't wear a single thing (as they primarily sold men's shoes and accessories back then), but I personally made sure my boyfriend, dad and brother bought themselves a pair or two. I might have even bought them a couple of pairs for Christmas and Father's Day. Believing I was a fabulous gay man in my past life, I've always found myself paying careful attention to what men are wearing, especially in their choice of shoes. So as a men's stylist with a torrid shoe fetish, imagine my euphoria when Pedro Manila finallly brought in its women's line! Charles & Keith Launch @ Mid Valley (KL)

Malaysians first got a taste of Singaporean brand Charles & Keith back in July 2008 when the brand first landed in a store at Pavillion. It seems our appetite for well-made trendy shoes  has been absolutely insatiable! The latest extension of the store, not just any simple boutique mind you, but the largest Charles & Keith boutique in the world is now opened at Mid Valley Megamall. Yesterday I went over to see for myself all 3,300 square feet of glorious shoe heaven.

New Charles & Keith Store at Sunway Pyramid

Excited ensued when we first heard wind of Charles & Keith opening in Malaysia, and they did so last year in Pavilion, followed by a  second store in 1 Utama in January 2009. Next month, Charles & Keith finally opens its store in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall!
