While at Singapore  - as part of the grand launching of ION Orchard, our media group was taken around to view the changing landscape of Orchard Road. The renowned  Singaporean shopping street will be updated with revamped pedestrian walkways and 4 new malls will be added to the street. Before the chorus of "Does Singapore really need another mall?!" starts reaching crescendo pitch, you might want to read about the new mall on the block, Orchard Central that is created from a completely brand-new, ground-breaking mold.

At the Carrie Underwood performance for the launch of ION Orchard, I couldn't help but notice that jeans and a tank top seemed to be the staple of many. Yet each look were distinct from each other because of unique touches. Here are three ways on how you can personalize a basic outfit and differentiate it from the masses, as seen on the streets of Singapore.

When we mention Singapore, the first thing that pops into our head apart from the now redundant ban on chewing gum, is the fact that it is one of Asia's premium shopping destination. While the hidden laneways of Haji Lane may boast a plethora of indie wear, it is Orchard Road that serves as the beacon call for shopping addicts and fashionistas alike. Orchard Road has been having a facelift of sorts in recent times and one of the biggest change in the street's revampment is the presence of the ION Orchard shopping mall. The mall was officially launched on the 16th of October and I was lucky enough to be invited to bear witness the launch. New on the Block: CTRL Clothing and Boxfresh at Very Wooonderland (SG)

From the streets of Helsinki to the old school hip-hop of New York, Very Wooonderland is encompassing worldwide sartorial creativity with the addition of 2 new labels in their Singaporean boutique. They are skate/streetwear collective, CTRL Clothing from Finland – that revels in graphics, prints as well as classic footwear and Boxfresh from the UK. The 2 labels will now join the line-up at the Mad Hatter-themed store in ION Orchard.
