Discovering a Colour-iffic Wardrobe
The sterotypical fashionista is usually painted in shades of black; black clothes, black shoes, black bags. Black is classic for a reason but as serious a business fashion is, you'd be extremely remiss to neglect the other shades in the colour spectrum. The Tongue in Chic team decided to embark on a discovery of the colour wheel and come up with a couple of choice outfits that celebrate the fun and diversity of colours.

Fright Night Fashion
With Halloween just around the corner, I'm sure many of you are cracking your heads thinking what to dress as. Renting a costume might be too expensive, you might not necessary get the outfit you desire and what about walking around in the middle of the city dressed to 'frighten and scare'? Surely you would need something a little less dramatic if the party was held in a spot other than an isolated, haunted bungalow? Being the cheapskate and lazy peeps we are (don't even get us started on D.I.Y costumes), we've come up with this cheat so you can turn up at a costume party without feeling underdressed and yet, not feel like you had to bend-over-backwards to create your fancy Halloween wear!

Ipanema * Gisele Bünchen Contest Winners!
Tongue in Chic and Ipanema recently held a contest with six pairs of Ipanema slippers from the Seeds collection to give away. All you ladies had to do was to play with Polyvore with a pair of Ipanema slippers as your main focus for an outfit. After rummaging through lots and lots of entries, we can now announce the winners! Yay!
Valentine's Day: Coordination That Isn't Cheesy
This Saturday will be that time of the year again when we witness more couples than ever holding hands in public, clutching at gifts and flowers, and having restaurants booked to the brim. Some of us anticipate the day to no end, and some of us loathe it for its commercialism. Whichever the case or whatever one's reason may be, Valentine's Day is a-coming and there's nothing you can do about it.

Contest Reminder: Ipanema * Gisele Bünchen Seeds
I hope you haven't forgotten about the contest where we're giving away 6 PAIRS from the Ipanema * Gisele Bünchen Seeds Collection that just launched two weeks ago! All readers have to do is create a Polyvore set to show us how they'd style themselves with a pair of Ipanemas. Just to inspire you, here are some of the entries we've received so far so you can have a look!
