Material boutique in Pavilion has been open for a few months, but it took it's time to launch fashionably last week. Selling über neat pieces from labels like J. Lindeberg, Dr Denim and Religion; it can be left unsaid that many of the authentic pieces from this store cannot be found anywhere else in the country.

Guess threw a cocktail party outside their Pavilion store last Friday night to showcase their casual Fall collection. Guess was founded by Armand, Georges, Maurice and Paul Marciano; four Moroccan brothers who grew up heavily influenced by style in the south of France, only to move to California in 1977 where they founded their company in 1981.

Last Friday, I experienced the launch of the Madison Collection by Coach at Pavilion. The fashion show started at around 8-ish and I quickly stood at a nice spot hoping to get a good look at the new collection.
Last Friday, Tangs Pavilion launched a new label for women called Je t'aime Black. Arriving at three in the afternoon, guests and media were asked to help themselves to some cupcakes and cookies at Island Bistro.

Tangs in Kuala Lumpur’s Pavilion revealed their 2008 Christmas Store themed “surrealism”, yesterday. Who’d have thought that Salvadore Dali and the most wonderful time of year could go so well together? The space was unique, allowing for careful placement of the new products in their various compartments, such as the boudoir for the lingerie and the bathroom for the perfumes and beauty products.
We’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon here on Tongue in Chic lately and it’s about how passionate most of you are with your footwear. Not just any footwear of course - we’re talking trendy yet affordable shoes. Previous posts “Charles & Keith? Yes, please…” and “Charles & Keith in KL Pavilion” pretty much started a mini war between the C&K vs Vincci devotees within their respective comment sections.
Considering how many Charles & Keith fans we have here I thought you might be interested in taking a sneak peak at the summer collection, which according to our source should be available in time for the Pavilion opening in July.

Following Evevon’s post on Charles & Keith making its way into Malaysia, we’ve got more news for you! The 1,700-square-foot boutique will be opening its doors in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur in July; with a second planned to open in the third quarter of 2008.
The brand has experienced phenomenal growth since 1996 with more than 130 concept stores in the region including Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Nice to know Malaysia will finally be included in the list!
Below are the perspective images for the anticipated store:

Reiss in Pavilion recently threw a simple fashion party showcasing their Spring Summer 08 Collection. Hailing from UK, Reiss’ reputation for their elegant clothing has been noticed and noted, but you must agree it’s always a different issue altogether to see how the pieces hang from one’s body.
Rushing from a meeting into the store, I didn’t recognise many people there (probably due to my lack of presence in the scene!) save for some of the other fashion media moguls.

Ooh, what’s this.

nectar, wet ozone, and sparkling muguet. The mid notes are freesia, mimosa, jasmine, and tuberose. Base notes are skin musk, sandalwood, ylang ylang, oakmoss, and pheromone.
