Movie Directed by Tom Ford: A Single Man
Tom Ford’s first film “A Single Man” premiered at the 66th Venice Film Festival last week. Based on the novel by Christopher Isherwood, the movie starts Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode (Nicholas Hoult of Skins makes an appearance too). The story is set in early-Sixties Los Angeles, and follows a day in the life of a gay British literature professor wrestling with the sudden death of his longtime partner. Chic Movie: Coco Avant Chanel
Opening in Hong Kong cinemas on 11th June, is the anticipated biographical French film about one of the fashion history's most well known icons - Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Directed by Anne Fontaine, Coco Avant Chanel stars French actress, Audrey Tatou (of Amelie and Da Vinci Code fame) as the great fashion icon.

The first book of the best-selling Shopaholic series is to be made into a movie, directed by P.J. Hogan. The movie is now in post-production and has been announced to be released on 13 February 2009 in the United States.
