Beauty Bank: Strip, Bangsar (MY)
My mother ingrained into me the conservative Chinese belief to always keep my legs close. "Afterall we wouldn't want to "open the coffee shop" to just anyone, right?", was her reasoning. As a result, my figurative coffee shop had only my amateur efforts when it came to maintainence. Looking for a facelift (in all sense of the word, as you will soon find out), I turned to Strip, the Ministry of Waxing. I figured the company who is responsible for revolutionising the wax culture in Asia would be a safe haven in which I can commence the inaugural parting of the thighs and I was right.

Blog Shop: Itsy Beadsy (MY)
Less is More, but that doesn't mean you can't make a statement. Our Blog Shop of the week, Itsy Beadsy, follows the philosophy by subtly injecting the statement from its dainty accessories.

Blog Shop: I Wear Sin (MY)
Raise your hand up high if you're addicted to splurging on a little black dress even though you have 10 sittiing in your closet. Just like you, I am a sucker for basics, and I have the tendency to repeat purchases as well.

Although fairly new, the brand caters regionally and does not plan on slowing down. Curious on the story behind the brand, I got to ask a few questions that has been on my mind while browsing their neat web layout!

Urbanscapes 2010 (MY)
Blessed with blue sunny skies and sweltering heat, Urbanscapes 2010 was a sandbox away from looking straight out of an episode of The O.C. or Baywatch. What KLPac lacked in golden beach sand though was made up with a full day's schedule that spanned great shopping, stirring festival tunes, and impressive artwork - all topped off with a strong spirit of community. Here is our recap of Kuala Lumpur's arguably only all-day arts and music festival. Join in the fun with your memories through the comment box!

MTV World Stage 2010
In 2009, music-loving Malaysians got a taste of a full-blown party at the MTV World Stage. The loving crowd poured unending adoration to the musical line up that included home-grown talents, Estranged, UK exports, Raygun, Pixie Lott and Kasabian as well as American heartthrobs, Boys Like Girls and The All-American Rejects. The cries of lamentation wondering when a music party of such stature would return to our shores have been heard and answered. Everyone, get pumped, primped and ready for MTV World Stage is coming back to town in 2010!

Blog Shop: White Circus (MY)
The reason why we resort to online shopping isn't just the convenience, but affordability for the same quality of clothing. My staple physical stores are Cotton On, Forever 21 and Topshop - but I usually come home empty handed with the thought that I might find the same black tank top online for a cheaper price. When I stumbled upon White Circus, I immediately thought of how similar the quality of the clothing that they carry to high street retail stores - with the benefit of a price much cheaper!
