Recently, I was lucky enough to be invited to a media preview of the iconic designer’s Autumn/Winter 2010 line, where Jimmy Choo representatives had a presentation to introduce a few of the collection’s key items to the press. Malaysian-born, world renown shoemaker, Jimmy Choo announced the launch of Project PEP with the Elton John Aids Foundation which is designed to support the funding of the Simelela Rape Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.

Around the World
After 15 years, organisers of New York’s Fashion Week, IMG Fashion have announced that they will move the event to Lincoln Center starting September 2010. The location offers more space - around 87,000 square feet versus 70,000 square feet at Bryant Park. Such a move while unpopular with some will be a relief for the park management which has often complained about the disruptions caused by the twice-annual event, estimated to draw more than 100,000 visiting store buyers and fashion editors each time.

Shot by New York based fashion photographer Terry Richardson, the campaign features American supermodel Angela Lindvall, amongst the gilt and splendour of the newly renovated Plaza Hotel on Central Park, New York.
