Just last month, we posted on the Martell VSOP Rising Personalities Awards 2009. Launched at Studio 99 last week, the award is back again to recognize up-and-coming individuals who rose above all others and have the potential to reach even greater heights.

Two weeks ago, we wrote about Lipstick Gossip taking place and how TiC was allocated 10 invites for the second party, which happened last Thursday! Taking place at Twenty.one Kitchen + Bar, the ladies-only party saw around 100 women mingling, sipping on cocktails, snacking on canapes, and indulging in girlie activities.
A Scent by Issey Miyake
Last week, I headed over to Pavilion for an event that made and broke my day. It's a pretty long story that you'll have to read on to completely understand! The event was a media preview of A Scent by Issey Miyake, which will very soon hit the shelves in September.

Yesterday, elianto turned four years old and in conjunction with their anniversary, unveiled a hair care range to achieve healthy and shiny hair at an affordable price. They will also be having road shows happening at Mid Valley Megamall from 6-12 July, and Sunway Pyramid from 5-16 August.
Q+A: The Living Room Craft Market
For a fashion and art obsessed city such as Hong Kong, one would surely expect that there would be a place where creativity, handmade and fun could be showcased on a regular basis. On this writer's arrival to Hong Kong, it was disappointing to find that there was a lack of such an avenue and that the handmade movement was virtually non-existent.
Thus, it was refreshing to stumble across The Living Room Craft Markets - a new event in Hong Kong with the aim of bringing together creativity, handmade, art and music (oh and did we mention booze?). Click to read our interview with founder Awon Golding.

A week ago, Two Mads Bazaar took place in 3K Inn. The variety of vendors there were great, and included feathered headbands, hair extrensions and beauty demos among the usual clothes and accessories.
