No one can deny how much the Western culture had influenced us over the years. And fashion in particular is the most obvious of them all! Our fashion style may be more conservative, but we have had our own glory in it as well, so much so that American brand Bebe's (pronounced bee bee) new collection blends worldwide influences that spans from the Far East to the West.

Last week, I went to a cocktail party which also served as a platform for Bebe to present its latest Spring 2009 collection. The invite asked guests to come according to its Safari Chic theme, promising cutting-edge designs that inspire feminine adventura looks to the forefront of fashion.

Last night, we attended Bebe's official debut in Malaysia with their new 2,000 sq. ft. boutique at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The brand is known for their versatile, sexy women's wear that easily takes you from the office to a night on the town in killer stilettos.
Bebe, Fall in Love All Over Again
Bebe threw a cocktail party outside their Pavilion store last Friday night in order to showcase their Fall collection for the season. The label, which was founded in San Francisco in 1976, has a simple rationale behind its name - Bebe - representing the philosophy of time ("to be or not to be"). In Persia, it's used to refer to the queen in a deck of cards; whereas in Turkey, it means "woman".
Well, we certainly learn something new every day!
