Hot Off The Racks: Charles & Keith A/W 2010

Here's the thing, due the fact that I am vertically challenged (a.k.a. short). I am always on the look out for the right pair of heels to give me the boost I need. It is really difficult to get a pair of heels that have the right combination of style, comfort and price. So, my inner shoe fetish was ignited when Charles & Keith launched their Autumn/Winter 2010 Fashion Pantomime from The Luxe and Glam collection.

When Pedro first opened in Manila at SM Mall of Asia, I personally couldn't wear a single thing (as they primarily sold men's shoes and accessories back then), but I personally made sure my boyfriend, dad and brother bought themselves a pair or two. I might have even bought them a couple of pairs for Christmas and Father's Day. Believing I was a fabulous gay man in my past life, I've always found myself paying careful attention to what men are wearing, especially in their choice of shoes. So as a men's stylist with a torrid shoe fetish, imagine my euphoria when Pedro Manila finallly brought in its women's line! As much as I hate the mistreatment of animals or try to avoid wearing all things formerly breathing and moving, I still have a soft spot for leather. Whatever green agenda that one might believe in, when it comes to the perfect leather jacket, or boots, there's no stopping the appeal of buttery, warm and soft attire goodness.
