It takes a boatload of creativity and fashion savvy to have some of the hottest accessories in town, especially in the wide, wide fields of fashion accessory designs. Beautiful Dreams with diva
Whether we realize it or not, Native American-inspired fashion has been around us for a while now. Instead of the Pocahontas dopplelganger you might be thinking of, I'm referring more to the proliferation of headbands and the increased popularity of fringe, which we documented here in our Playing Stylist post. It seems that though we Asians might be far removed from the intricate tribal culture of Native Americans, we still can't help but emulate it in our personal style.

WindowShopBlog: Kang (SG)
Ever so often, we'll come across a terribly creative individual that makes us tingle! Just recently at Flea-tique in Singapore, we discovered Kang, a specky lad who infuses his own personal twist and edge on fashion. Armed with an undeniable talent at creating a myriad of chainmaille accessories, Kang is certainly not a follower of trends, but rather, a creator and crafter of unique pieces you can't find anywhere else.

Icon of the Week: Cartier Love Bracelet
In the summer of 1969, a (then young, now late) Cartier staff designer, Aldo Cipullo, created a bracelet that would eventually become one of the world's most famous status symbols of our age, and the most coveted and celebrated wrist ornament - The Love Bracelet. We take you through its inspiration (a chastity belt!), the movie stars that wore them (like Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton), to the current celebs that adorn them.

Accessories Designer: Genea (PH)
Countless designer labels, magazines and the like have relied on Filipino talent for inspiration when it comes to accessories. Even international brands like Donna Karan and Armani have tapped into Pinoy designers to source for high-quality accessories to help complete their seasonal look books. Genea is a great example, exporting earrings, necklaces, bangles, anklets and belts made from all-natural materials.

Wood + Tooth & Bone
It is hard for jewelry sites to stray from being tacky. Due to the abundance and mixtures of gold, turquoise and silver; photographing jewelry to make it look exquisite instead of cheap is a clincher in our eyes. wood + tooth & bone has got me pleasantly surprised, and got it down pat.
There's Tea For Me And You, Then There's T43

The trio behind the contemporary hand-fabricated accessories of t43 certainly do, and the inspirations they draw from such teabags have certainly surpassed all imagination.

A Fix of Fashionology
By: Yu Shan
Say the phrase “tech-obsessed” and I’d be the last person you’d think of.
A USB stick, laptop, or mobile phone fail to ignite a heady rush the way Stila lipgloss, a TopShop dress, or a chic fedora would. And I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one with this “sad affliction” (term coined by my male friends). They snigger when I choose Apple because of their sleek designs, and they shake their heads because my dream computer is that pink VAIO notebook.
Snigger and shake away! Many big names in the electronics business have started to understand the value of appealing to not only tech-obsessed guys but also design-infatuated girls. All style and no substance? Not necessarily.
For your fashionable earphone and USB fix, look no further than Phillip’s Active Crystals collection, on sale in most Phillips electronics stores in Malaysia. A collaboration between Phillips, one of the biggest industry players in the world, and Swarovski crystals, it’s guaranteed to keep your girl friends happy.
