Swim Love

What started as *ahem* research for a new swim suit led to a discovery of yet another Australian designer (if you recall it wasn’t too long ago that I chanced upon this other talent from Down Under) or in this case the design duo of Susie Chong and Nic Briand of the label Lover. Whilst flipping though Preen mag, I noticed this very retro type one piece (first photo in the last image on this post) so I immediately logged on to their website and whaddaya know? More surprises lay ahead.

For one, there’s tonnes to do on their site - access their blog (oh how I love even more reading material) and podcast or even click on the link to their myspace page! Online stalking aside, there’s the usual press and collection tabs and that’s when I discovered that there were two sets of collections per season. Phew! One for the Northern hemisphere and another for its Southern counterpart so Spring/ Summer collections will always be available to us. Which makes total sense for those living in tropical countries. I mean, I love the Autumn/ Winter stuff but how many times have you looked longingly at gorgeous parkas, knitwear, beanies, gloves, etc? And tragically ended up purchasing said item/s despite very little use for them? No? Ok, only me then.
