October is the month that all you ladies should keep close to your heart as it is the National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Estée Lauder is doing their part by hosting the World Pink Road Show as part of their Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Road Shows 2009. The road shows will be held at 2 major city malls this time and I attended the launch at Mid Valley to get a lowdown on the activities that will be happening during the event.

I just got back from the Estee Lauder Model Search press event at Mid Valley to get an inside peek into the workings of this year's competition. With prizes like an all-expense paid photography shoot and spa treatment at Tanjong Jaya Resort and RM35,000 worth of prizes to take home; the best thing about this competition is there are no holds barred when it comes to age.

Beauty On Tuesdays: Vibrating Mascaras
Many things in technology have vibrated for a while now - mobile phones, toothbrushes, video game controllers and of recent, mascaras. Lancôme launched their vibrating Ôscillation mascara in Malaysia on January 19th, followed by Estee Lauder's Turbolash All Effects Motion Mascara a day after. We wrote about their launches but never did let you guys know how effective they are... which changes today :)

Gap Fall Classics 2008: Create Your Own Gap
Gap's Fall Collection will be the first full collection to be designed solely by head designer since May '07, Patrick Robinson. With this in mind, it seems appropriate that Gap went all out for its launch campaign, getting notable personalities to wear the collection's most iconic pieces in their own ways, all shot by coveted Swedish photographer Mikael Jansson.

With the philosophy that every women can be beautiful, this year’s submissions have been divided into two categories: Group 1 (Cleo-Cosmopolitan) ages 30 and below; and Group 2 (The Malaysian Women’s Weekly) ages 30 and above.
