Today we’re featuring the new Dior Addict Extreme. This formula is a new addition to the existing Dior Addict lip colour range and will be part of the permanent collection.
Think of it as the bolder sister of the original Dior Addict formula. This formula promises intense glassy finish shine and higher pigmentation. So if you liked the original formula but crave more pigmentation, then this is worth checking out.
The formula felt creamy and gave a very comfortable wear. Pigmentation was high and brighter colours wore off evenly without leaving the dreaded colour ring on lips. The formula also felt long-lasting enough to survive a light meal, which we think is pretty impressive considering the lipbalm-like comfort. We liked the intense glassy shine which gave the creamy colours a grown up kind of finish – good news for those who may not like shimmery finishes.
The colours are divided into four tonal groups, each represented by a namesake colour.
- Incognito – beige tones
- Lucky – pink tones
- Riviera – a combination of colours which Dior labels as “sunny colours”
- Plaza – intense shades of mauvey pink, brick red and deep plum
The swatches show 11 out of 12 colours available. 366 Pink Icon was not available for swatching at the time of publishing.
486 Princess was a hard colour to get an accurate representation of. It is closer to a brick red colour in real life. We recommend Princess for those who love red lipsticks and demand both high pigmentation and comfortable wear.
