The grandeur befitted the ceremony as many of us have now been waiting with bated breath for a look behind the doors of the famed beauty emporium. Did the debut live up to the hype? The Sephora Malaysia flagship store located at in front of Starhill Gallery has taunted beauty junkies and curious shoppers since the posterboards went up months ago. Speculation abound on social networks far and wide – “What brands would be available here?”, “Will it be expensive?” and the most prominent one, a common squeal of, “FINALLY!”.
With a space of almost 10,000 square feet spread out over two levels, it’s safe to say that Sephora Malaysia will very much be the new site of pilgrimage for beauty aficionados in the country. Those who have had the opportunity to experience Sephora overseas might look upon this debut with a tired cynical eye. But imagine the ease that comes with knowing that all your favourite beauty brands are readily available under one roof!
