1. DIY: Ribbon Frills Top

The Tudor inspired ruffs might have a second coming! But instead of the stiff, exaggerated, pleated neckbands from that era, we're talking about something a little more feminine and simple. So for today's DIY, might I introduce to you the romantic frilly collar? You can use just about any kind of ribbon or blouse of your choice, just see how after the jump.

It's something quick and easy for those who are sick and tired of what they see in their shoe closet but can't possibly go on another shopping binge. Rather than chucking them out, hopefully this will create new possibilities. Try them out here!

  6. DIY: 3-D Polka Dot Socks

With polka dots getting extra attention this season, it's only fair to have a DIY this week that pays homage to the trend. Instead of circles and discs, we thought we'd try some 3-D version instead. It's one easy feat and all you need are buttons - of any colour or size, and something to sew it onto! I did mine on a pair of socks since I'm still into the whole socks+shoe trend.

    - Socks

    - Buttons
    - Needle and thread

  7. DIY: Felt Pyjamas

I was at the store planning on getting some gloves but got some felt fabric to work on my DIY this week instead. Felt  is such a great material to use for decorating and it's a cheaper and easier alternative to having your fingers pricked by needles doing embroidery. With felt, you can  make greeting cards, simple pouches and even to pimp up your pjs! Here's how...

  9. DIY: Cloth tape purse

What happens when your favourite purse or bag starts to fall apart?  My   favourite purse did a couple of weeks ago but I was determined to keep using it till I find another one. So, while I was trying to think of a way I could carry it around without being embarrassed of   it's "ruggedness" -  I came across a nifty idea using cloth tape! I wouldn't say that it looks all that great but it is my "quirky" way of recycling.

  10. Where & Wear: Hong Kong

A few weeks ago, I was in Hong Kong for a vacation and I must say that Hong Kong is really "home" for shopping, sight see-ing and fancy buildings.
It is really an inspiring country and I am sure there are albums of street style pictures one could take.
On the other hand, I had errands to run and hours too short and it was drizzling on and off everyday while I was there.
If it was not the weather, it was a great looking guy/girl/couple at the opposite the street, on the phone walking really fast or coming out from the train.
And it was really impossible to catch everyone at the speed of lightning!

So I took the followings when I was having coffee break at the peak of Hong Kong or having brunch in the alleys.
