Contest: Deck Yourself In Diva!

Filed In Blog by joyce | Comments: 5 | Views: 666

'Tis the season to be jolly, and you can't very well deck the halls if you don't deck yourselves up too... with diva accessories! What TiC loves about diva is the same belief we have - that fashion is supposed to be fun, forward and affordable. And for this month, free (for some of you)!

When diva first opened in Malaysia, girls were going a bit crazy with the wide range of affordable fashion-forward jewelry that was spread out  and colour-coordinated in one store. By releasing new ranges weekly, diva sticks to their strength in providing a wide selection that is inspired by the latest catwalk trends in London, Paris, New York and Tokyo.

This festive season, TiC and diva come together to give away 6 x RM200 worth in diva accessories. Imagine all the new looks you'll get to put together for 2009! All you have to do is tell us your most diva moment! We have two categories for this contest:
1) Those with blogs.
2) Those without.
We're doing this because we don't want to constrain contests to just readers with blogs, we love you all!

1) For readers with blogs

Prizes: 4x RM200 worth of diva accessories

- Blog about your most diva moment and link that post to this TiC post.
- Email contest@tonguechic.com to let us know you've taken part including the blogpost url, your full name, IC and mobile number.
- Please entitle the email "diva christmas contest: BLOG"

2) For readers without blogs

Prizes: 2x RM200 worth of diva accessories

- Write your most diva moment in the comment section below or email your entry to contest@tonguechic.com.
- Please include your full name, IC and mobile number.
- Please entitle the email "diva christmas contest"

Closing date for both contests is 12 noon 31st December 2008.

Send, send, send, and may the best diva win!

Oh wow. My diva moment. Got me thinking hard. Not that I have many, haha. Well I think the best diva moment and the only that I can remember of was at an event this year. It was an event held at my friend's school. Everyone had to pay the ticket price of RM15 to get in. Well when I arrived I walked in confidently through the gates but suddenly got stopped by a male voice, saying "Excuse me?". I turned around acting oblivious and said Yes? He asked for my ticket and I straight away said oh can you call Dee(my friend who happens to be in the team organizing the event) for me? I didnt know him,I wasnt really familiar with the people from that school so after a phone call, she arrived. Then Dee took my hand and brought me in but we got stopped by the ticket guy again. "But she has to pay" said the guy. Dee then mumbled "Oh emm. She's with us,she's one of our friends". The guy made a face. Oh godd,it was priceless,it's like "Hah,I told you so" kinda face. Then I got in without paying a single cent with a grin on my face. I really felt like a diva at that moment and Im pretty sure no one except me had to pay to get in.
Now I bet this incident is very common but it was that look on that guy's face really made me felt like a diva. The way his eyes snapped at me,and me getting away with it; priceless. (:

So that was my diva moment. Hope you liked it!
Thanks for reading.

That got me thinking.I am not t exactly a 'diva' girl but there was this one time that i feel honourably divalicious!Haha.I used to be geeky and really demure,i think clubbing is detrimental.Well, one day i thought i wanted to try something different, wear something other than what i have in my closet, make up and really be someone else.So i got dressed and my best friend took me out to the clubs and instantly my old pals could'nt recognise me.In fact they were amazed of how different and pretty i could transform myself into. And when i hit the dancefloor they were blown away, instantly i felt great.I love the attention and came to realise that if i want to be a diva,i could.I just chose to be who i am,and am very comfortable being my geeky self.the real me is a true diva eventhough i did enjoy the onenight glamour.Of course i would'nt mind some accesories to 'diva up' my life!
