Angkatan Baju Malaya @ UOX Play Tomorrow!
Angkatan Baju Malaya will be present at UOX Play tomorrow! The independant clothing label collective will be stringing along with them a whole bunch of unique brands that create, design, and print their own wearable artworks that consist of clothes, accessories and others. TiC talks to Zul of ABM on what you can expect tomorrow.
Anything new you guys have been up to lately?
Currently, we don't have anything new. We've just restructured our collective, but on 31st January 2009 we will co-organise Independent Day-Out 2 at Ipoh (Independent Arts Festival) with Theatrical Records & Bodysurf Music.

We're bringing brands under ABM such as:
PopMalaya - T-shirt designs
The Super Sunday - T-shirt designs, graffiti custom soles and graffiti canvas
Defy - T-shirt and poster designs
Dirt-tee Clothing - T-shirt designs and hoodies
Our Happiness - T-shirt designs
Cherpen - T-shirt designs
Street Signal - T-shirt designs, buttons and stickers
Bima - T-shirt designs, cardigans and bags
Durjana Design - T-shirt designs, buttons and sticker
I Heart KL - T-shirts design
Chocshock! - No T-shirts but chocolate moist cake instead!
Bangkit - T-shirt designs and buttons
Saya Sukalah! - Girls accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, brooches, earrings
What activities are you planning on having?
Defy, one of labels under ABM will be doing T-shirt silk-screen printing on the spot with the designs interpreting the word 'PLAY' and these shirts will be sold to customers on that day. Pop Collective, company under PopMalaya/PopRina (one of ABM's label's) will doing a poster show installation; and The Super Sunday will be doing graffiti design on the spot on the canvas they will be selling on that day. Plus we have vendors' photo activities as well!
