Karl Ng & Venie Tee Fashion Show

While the TiC team were busy preparing Frangipani for Chic CODE: Androgyny, I was on the other side of the Golden Triangle in KL. Impiana KLCC, to be exact. I was there to cover Karl Ng and Venie Tee’s fashion show.
I arrived about an hour earlyto secure good seats near the stage for photography opportunities. At 1.40pm, the music started playing and models begin to strut on stage.
Karl Ng’s collections were a blend of East meets West – with a hint of batik/flower motifs in his designs. Unfortunately, Karl wasn’t present at Impiana that day because he needed to attend another of his batik fashion shows someplace else.
Venie’s creations on the other hand, were made up of mostly black cocktail dresses, suitable for a night out in the city. The collection also included power vests and tailored capri pants.
