I Heart You Gehry Much

I'm sure many of you have not even begun thinking about Valentine's Day yet but Tiffany & Co. are on the ball for the occasion and turning up the heat. Collaborating yet again with starchitect Frank Gehry, the new Gehry Hearts collection involves the talented man approaching the universal symbol of love from a new angle.

I've always admired Gehry's ability at making his whacky structures stand despite their forms looking as if they are about to bend over or blow away. For instance the Hotel Marqués De Riscal in Spain...

His previous collections for Tiffany & Co. had women the world over giving their men bambi eyes for a piece, and even though the designs are extremely timeless, I think it's about time a new collection is out for those who already own former collection pieces.

The Gehry Hearts collection is all about sweeping style, dramatically reshaping the hearts to create "contoured reflective surfaces that seem to billow like sails". Sounds romantic already.
