Nu Style Inspirations
Thanks to TiC reader Sputnik who recommended us this site - Lookbook.Nu. I’m hooked, and foresee it as a potential daily click for aimless surfing and perfect when procrastinating work. (Shh…)
A beautifully-constructed style upload site for hipsters spanning the globe, Lookbook.Nu is easy to navigate with looks categorized into country (Argentina, Mexico, Hungary); apparel type (ties, boots, blouses); and style type (handmade, thrifted, rock). Members can upload their personal looks, ‘hype’ others up, comment, and have links back to their blogs and social spaces.
My wonderment at the quality and creativity of the photographs were ceased when I noticed that its an invite-only community, which explains the lack of need to sieve through less-than-average photos.
