Kanchan Couture

Born in India and raised in Hong Kong, fashion designer Kanchan Suresh Panjabi (or better known as Kanch) launched her Fall Collection in Hong Kong last month. [source: Butterboom]
Kanch, who will be turning 26 soon, spent her college days in New York and moved to London shortly after realizing her passion in fashion. She graduated with masters and moved back to Hong Kong to start Kanchan Couture, her high fashion clothing label.
Citing her fashion identity as a ‘hybrid world’, her designs are hugely influenced by her Asian upbringing. Kanch's bright clothes are made of rich Indian silks which leave a weightless experience on the body.
As a fairly new designer (Kanch debuted into the fashion scene in 2006), she has taken on several projects that have given her the opportunity to introduce her designs all over the world!
