It was raining cats and dogs, but unfazed, I made my way through a 30-minute ride on the LRT and a small distance in between to snap up some much needed beauty products at half price. And true to the etiquettes of chic bargain hunters, the rain did nothing to deter an ensemble from ascending to the second floor of Wisma MCA.
L’Oreal decided to do some spring-cleaning, and they took up the entire floor of Wisma MCA to deal out some goodies for low prices by popular brands like Garnier, L’Oreal Excellence, Maybelline, and L’Oreal Expert and Elseve.
The warehouse clearance sale was slated to run a full day from 8:30am to 9:30pm, which was really good news for those who could not get out of work mid-day. First items to sell out were the popular ones, like the much coveted Maybelline XXL mascara, which sold out long before lunch time.
I snagged myself a ton of hair dye (no kidding) and some whitening products for my mum and sisters. The bargain was worth the trek all the way down from PJ to Ampang!
I'm planning that when the opportunity arises again, I'll make sure that I am (or at least, one of) the first in line to bag the top products!
