TiC Pick: Gladiator Platforms
SATC movie fever may be over (was it just me or was the movie unbelievably draggy and dull save for the outfits?), but one item remains constantly on the mind. THE Dior gladiator platforms to be exact.
But at USD770 from eluxury, I'll have to say that this is perhaps one item that should remain a dream. In any case, eluxury doesn't ship to these parts of the world so our credit cards are safe for now.
Meanwhile, we can always count on ASOS to come up with something similar. For example, their ASOS Leather Heavy Gladiator Sandals which according to their site is in the style of Sarah Jessica Parker.
This pair was sold out upon the movie's cinematic release and was instantly spotted in many a fashion blogger's closet. And no wonder... this cost only a fraction of the DIor pair at £55 and with a sturdier heel certainly looks a lot more wearable than its original. ASOS may not ship here but it does to our neighbours down south. Now seems about the right time to get in touch with those friends and family of mine in Singapore...
