Chic Geek: Vivienne Tam for HP

Forget maxi dresses. Forget high-waisted skirts. Forget gladiators. Let’s talk geek, just for a moment!
Before you sigh in impatience and skip to the next article, you’re going to want to have a look at this. Let me give you two clues - Vivienne Tam, and Hewlett Packard. Curious yet?
Hewlett Packard called upon Vivienne Tam to design a special edition notebook. The result is the embodiment of style and technology beautifully fused.
It made its first appearance on the catwalk at her show during New York Fashion Week. The striking red accentuates the peony floral print, creating a unique blend of modernized East meets West. The moment I saw this, my inner geek squealed in excitement and my vocabulary suddenly limited itself to two words – “Oh wow!”
The notebook is not the only thing Tam helped to create. The Guangzhou-born designer also created the embroidered sleeve that protects this gorgeous gadget as you parade around holding it like a clutch.
