Urbanscapes 2010: The Tongue in Chic Turf
While the FIFA World Cup tournament may be dominating all attention at the moment, let's not forget the homegrown event occuring at the end of the month too. The city comes out to play on the 26th of June at Kuala Lumpur's all-day arts festival, Urbanscapes, and Tongue in Chic will be right there to support our sister brand, KLue!
The main heart of Urbanscapes lies in its exploration and devotion to the local arts scene. Whether it's art installations, exhibitions or music perfomances, this is the day that celebrates art in all its multi-disciplinary forms. There's much fun to be had on the day and also shopping too for the deal hunters.
For the latent shopaholic tendencies within, the Marketplace will host a mixture of shops and blogs that will tickle your every lust, fancy and whims. All I can advise is to start saving up now and bring an eco-friendly bag on the day for you never know what you might find!
There's also a specially curated zone called the Tongue in Chic Turf where 10 selected vendors will be selling their wares.

Now I'm sure a lot of you might be pondering this question, so just to clarify, you will not need a ticket to access both the Marketplace and Tongue in Chic Turf on the day. However, there'll be a bevy of activities and performances that you won't want to miss out on. Given that this festival only happens once a year, might as well go all out and experience it thoroughly, no?
