Chic POP Street Market 3 (KL)

Filed In Blog by karen wong | Comments: 3 | Views: 1364

As the famous catchphrase goes, “third time’s the charm” and at the Chic POP Street Market part tres, held last Saturday at TTDI Plaza, the adage proved to hold true as the crowd came, had a blast and shared bucket-loads of memories!

Although the event was slated to start at 12pm, early birds came streaming in at 11am, browsing the stalls that were still in the midst of setting up.

It worked in their favour too because early attendance meant avoiding the massive lines that build up later on in the day for our free services like manicure, massage, numerology and tarot-card reading that were issued upon registration.

Did you register to collect your free swag and coupons?

There were a variety of vendors who sold a wide assortment of clothes - be it vintage, brand new, pre-loved, or quirky accessories, Chic POP Street Market had it all!

Intern Fafa (left) and Editor Sueann shows us their love at the Tongue in Chic Picks section!

As more people thronged the Market, the atmosphere heated up, but luckily we had Lecka-Lecka on hand to keep things cool. That is, until they sold out!

Luckily, Clinique and Dell also brought the cool with their respective booths. At the Clinique station, you could speak to Clinique's beauty consultants and makeup artist David Ooi (find out how you can score a  one-on-one tutorial with him here) was at hand to give makeup tips  and advise on the best foundation and skincare for your skin type.

On the other hand, at the Dell station, a very cool prize was up for grabs. Using the new Dell Design Studio laptops as inspiration, the best styled-up set on Polyvore would take home a Dell Design Studio Mike Ming Red Swirl laptop, powered by an Intel Core i7 processor. In fact, the contest is still going until the end of the week, so do be sure to join up! Read this post for more information.

All in all, it was a day of great fun and comfort where new friends were made and old friends came to bond. We at Tongue in Chic want to thank the vendors for their great participation, our partners for their support and you, dear reader and attendee, for adding to the festivities of the day!
