New on The Block: Pink Tattoos & Wheel Love Skateshop
They say two is better than one! That is precisely what this boutique is offering - two funky stores in one outlet. Everyone meet, Wheel Love Skateshop and Pink Tattoos.
Wheel Love, started by Sukeats Chee and Weiyeng Khoo, is an established lifestyle label that produces their very own range of inline skates and clothing. They are also regular hosts for skate competitions and produces skate videos. Wheel Love is also all about gathering friends and skate lovers from all over.
Pink Tattoos is not your average tattoo parlour due to its familiar relaxed atmosphere, great music and the freedom it brings you while you experience body modification.
Run by Lynda Chean, who is also a lover of all things owl (specifically that cute big owl statue), her website features personal daily photos, from tattoos she just made and even about her father!
Lynda also encourages her clients to make the body modification experience more comfortable and this means bringing your friends, music, or books.
Also, if you're an online shopper, you may have heard of the Brollies - which Pink Tattoos physical store carries. This fun corner has a range of handmade accessories, quirky new and vintage items.
Wheel Love Skateshop and Pink Tattoos formally introduced their store opening back in November 2009 where they invited skaters, artists, sneaker-freakers, fashionistas, the tattooed and everyone in between.
The launch started at 2pm where Wheel Love organised one of its famous skateboard and rollerblade grindbox competition. While at it, Wheel Love offered 28% discount off their limited shirts and Pink Tattoos also offered 28% discount off the first 10 tattoo bookings. What a great day it was!
