Looks We Love: New Years
Four days into the new decade and we've spotted your enthusiasm of dressing up. For this week's Looks We Love, we'd like to recap what has been our favourite looks since New Years Eve!
Nisa Risa (aka Perisa Cooper) was spotted with her unique androgynous style. Simple and classic, she tucked a crisp white blouse and rolled up black slacks with sharp white loafers. Looking like a Parisian, this look is definitely a classic!
A household name in the fashion blogging world, Phrae of Lightsilk spent her New Years back in Bangkok looking chic in pastels. She also shared her love for local Thai brands, Kloset and Stretsis. Our favourite item out of the whole ensemble has to be the hat! An unexpected touch, but harmonious with the whole look!
One of my favourite Chictopians, Lissa Kahayon opted for simplicity to adapt to her low key New Years celebration. The unusual colour of the dress stood out from the common colour choices (such as black) for party frocks. We also found out that the dress is from Glitterati, which we wrote about previously here. The look is simple, topped off with killer boots. We'd wear this outfit combination to a party anyday!
And on the third day of the year, another one of my favourite Chictopians and one half of Glitterati founder, Joanna Ladrido, has got me gushing on her blue sequinned dress. I'm always been one for Edie Sedgwick inspired outfits, and this one in particulary because of the movie "Factory Girl". We say she looks 60s fabulous!
How was your New Years? What oufit were you wearing? And were you inspired by the other party goers around you?
