Good Enough to Eat!
By: Alysia Song

Nothing revives an old outfit like shiny new accessories, whether it’s a simple yet elegant pair of earrings, or a cluster of charms and baubles that shout ‘maximalism’. Needless to say, like every other woman, I find myself inexplicably drawn to accessories like a moth to light. Thus, it is my pleasure to bring Sze Accessories to you.

Tan Sze Yoong, founder of www.szeaccessories.com developed a passion for fashion as she grew up watching her grandfather work with fabric in his tailoring shop tucked away in a small town in Perak. However, instead of becoming a dressmaker, her love of glamourous accessories spurred her into forming her own fashion jewelry business.
In the past year, Sze has been featured in 26 different mediums including newspapers, magazines and online publications. With such vision and an impressively detailed website to boot, it’s no wonder. Her pieces ooze ‘fashionably chic’ yet maintain a class of its own that transcends today’s fleeting trends.

Have a look at Sze’s latest collection just launched on her site last week, entitled Cupcakes.

The Cupcake range is inspired by +Wondermilk’s large array of picture-perfect cupcakes that launched Kuala Lumpur into cupcake mania. The collection consists of handmade pendants embedded with super cute designs of various cupcakes that look yummy enough to eat. If you’re one of those who can’t get enough of admiring the pretty cupcakes, now you can wear it around your neck to glance at it all day! A layer of glass seals the designs to ensure that they are water, food and oil resistant.
Limited pieces are now available exclusively online or at Cuppacakes by +Wondermilk at No.41, Jln SS21/1A, Damansara Uptown, Damansara Utama, 47400 P.J. The pendants are priced at USD15/RM49 each.

Sze’s upcoming collections are an interesting lot to look forward to, including new collaborations.
Her Silhouttes collection is in line with Tea & Sympathy boutique in Bangsar. The pieces emulate the store’s concept of old English mixed with a hint of modern hippie, and will be available for sale online and exclusively at Tea & Sympathy. Glam Rock will be a collaboration with popular blogger KinkyBlueFairy, and Bloom will be based on spring and a palette of colours.
