Multicolour Eye Makeup Tutorial

Makeup need not always be neutral... Go crazy with colours! With the right techniques, you can even wear the entire rainbow on your eyes. While these looks are party-appropriate, they're probably too shocking for the office. That's not to say that you should stay away from colours. The key is to wear one to two colors paired with neutrals such as browns and greys.

Aurora
1. Pat on purple eyeshadow (Shu Uemura: IR Purple 795) up until the crease line
2. Blend blue eyeshadow (Bobbi Brow: Sapphire) above the purple
3. Sweep teal eyeshadow (Shu Uemura: ME Blue 640) into the crease
4. Sweep green eyeshadow (MAC: Juxt) above the teal

5. Sweep a pale gold eyeshadow (Bobbi Brown: Gold) under the brow as highlight
6. Apply indigo eyeshadow (MAC: Contrast) along the lower lash line
7. Line the upper lash line and lower water line with black pencil eyeliner and fix on false lashes
Fireball
1. Sweep maroon eyeshadow (MAC: Cranberry) up until the crease line
2. Blend pinkish orange eyeshadow (MAC: Paradisco) above the maroon
3. Sweep orangey yellow eyeshadow (Shu Uemura: P Yellow 300) into the crease
4. Sweep true yellow eyeshadow (MAC: Chrome Yellow) above the orangey yellow

5. Apply off-white eyeshadow (Bobbi Brown: Bone) under eyebrow as highlight
6. Use a brown eyeshadow (Bobbi Brown: Chocolate) along lower lash line
7. Line the upper lash line and lower water line with black pencil eyeliner and fix on false lashes
