Cotton On in Malaysia!

If you follow us on Twitter (@tictweets), you might have read about the opening of popular Australian brand, Cotton On, over here in Malaysia. Excitement was spreading like an Aussie bush fire and the sight of the store boards did nothing to quell the fervour. The Pavilion Cotton On outlet officially opened on the 18th of September and as it turns out, this only marks the start of Cotton On's grand plans in Malaysia!

Cotton On, if you aren't familliar with it, is an Australian-based label that specializes in cotton clothes. Be it tops, skirts, leggings or dresses, cotton is the main material at use here and it is a perennial favourite in Australia because of the reasonably priced trendy clothes.

The clothes brand makes for a good fit here considering our year round humid weather. Singapore has had bragging rights for a while now because Cotton On opened there earlier but with Cotton On's grand plans for Malaysia, it seems we're back on equal ground.

So as you've read above, Cotton On opened their first store at Pavilion on 18th of September.

This month will see the launching of their next store in One Utama on the 24th of October. Sunway Pyramid will also see some Cotton On action with the expected opening of an outlet on the 30th of October.

You can expect a regular stock of their comfy classics and trendy clothes at their Malaysian stores with fortnightly stock changes. Fans of the comfy Rubi shoes will be happy to know that the shoe line available at Cotton On will be updated frequently too.

Cotton On has tentative plans to build a factory outlet at KL Plaza in the near future. The company also intends expand the brand in other states with plans to open new stores in Penang and Melaka soon.

Finally, a post on Cotton On. It's one of my favourite brands and I can't wait till they get some of the more current designs in. I've already bought five pairs of Rubi shoes, too!

I am very disappointed you compared the joyous opening of a store to horrifying bushfires. The last major bushfire in Aust caused alot of deaths, and it's not a joking matter!! This is poor 'journalism' to the max. You should be ashamed!!!

it's on 4th floor if i'm not mistaken, somewhere near forever21, opposite charles & keith.

this post is extremely helpful. Wanted to know when the outlet in one utama would open and you answered my question, and prayers. Now if only i can wait for the one in sunway pyramid to open. I will probably be broke when it does =s
