TiC Pick: Panel Bodycon Skirts

Filed In Blog by karen wong | Comments: 6 | Views: 4192

The Hervé Léger bodycon bandage dress was all the rage in 2008 as we covered in our previous TiC Pick. The close-fitting dress was certainly a beauty but not very viable if you weren't a skinny minny. Topshop adapted the trend and put their own spin on it in their panel bodycon skirts that were a hit with fashionistas far and wide.

A firm favourite amongst trendy fashion bloggers for its sheer versatility, the Topshop bodycon skirt with the exposed zipper at the back proved to be a great addition to any wardrobe, that is if you could shell out close to RM200 for it.

It was a such a huge success that UK fashion website, Lipsy, climbed aboard the bandwagon and came out with their own version that was slightly longer and more suited for the corporate workplace.

The Lipsy version was priced slightly higher at RM276.

Although Women.Fashionbeans.com offered a pair for RM110 with their Miso bodycon skirt, the site did not ship to Malaysia, and  frankly the price was still far from average.

Thankfully, local blogshop Nunfish has panel bodycon skirts for just RM50. The skirt is an exact replica of the original Topshop ones in every way but it tops it by offering more colour options. And of course, it's practically one third the origninal price!

Exposed zippers at the back

The skyblue and pink skirts are sold out but there are still four colours to choose from: white, grey, orange and baby blue.

Head on over to Nunfish to get your own skirt before it runs out!

I bought one from them. And it is definitely not the same with the Topshop one. The material is not exactly the same and the cutting is quite big.
