They say that a girl can't have too many bags, and they're probably right! After all, bags come in all shapes and sizes, and having more of 'em certainly couldn't do much harm. Hence, this time around, we're featuring A Bag a Day, a blogshop that exclusively sells bags (for now, at least!)
Have you heard of Wicked Sista yet? If you haven't, let me fill you in - Wicked Sista is an Australian brand featuring a range of cosmetic and beauty products, accessories and yes, bags. Causing quite a sensation in Japan and Taiwan, it was once deemed tricky to get your hands on one of their products if you're from our shores, but A Bag a Day are on a mission to introduce Wicked Sista to Malaysians!
From shopper totes, to clutches and quirky pouches, Wicked Sista's slogan is 'Wickedly glam gear for pretty princesses' and it seems to stay true to that, from what we've seen on A Bag a Day. Most of the designs are fun, bubbly and young, and are sourced exclusively from Australia by the bag-aholics behind a Bag a Day. ;)
The fun people behind A Bag a Day are Sze, an interior stylist, Guan, a commercial photographer and Min, an architect. They all hail from the sunny Island of Penang and the mutual love for beautiful things - partially shaped from their backgrounds in design - brought them together to start A Bag a Day.
Sze, Guan and Min seek to bring in provocative, obscure bags that instantly perk up an outfit ensemble - and yes, that means that they're looking to bringing in other lines and bags outside the range of Wicked Sista in the future, though they're keeping mum about the projects they have in mind for A Bag a Day. :) Well, we for one can't wait to see what they have in store for us!
A Bag a Day's Wicked Sista bags range from around RM 40 - RM 120, which seems pretty reasonable considering they're all imported from Australia. Min, one of the founders, has told us that they try to price their bags at a significantly lower price in comparison to their counterparts in Japan and Taiwan.
