New on the Block: Gap 1969 Premium Jeans

Filed In Blog by karen wong | Comments: 37 | Views: 5132
Regardless of how different everyone, male or female, is in this world, we all share one common thing that can be found in each of our closets - a pair of jeans. Although jeans are an absolute prerequisite for anyone, it remains an absolute shocker how bad fitting jeans continue to be worn! Gap, the stalwart of casual classics are introducing their new 1969 Premium Jeans line that caters to your shape and every curve.

The name of this line of jeans refers to the year Gap was first created. Since their debut, the brand has been extremely popular for their denim.  This time around they've reworked their jeans to take into account varying body shapes, to eliminate the glaring problem of badly-fitted jeans. Hence, the release of the Gap 1969 Premium Jeans!

The collection is very gender-friendly with both women and men-issued denim. All the jeans feature quality denim in different washes, from darkest ink to light, so that  you can pick one that suits you best!

For the ladies, the jeans have been crafted into 5 fits - Always Skinny, Real Straight, Sexy Boot, Curvy and Long & Lean.

Always skinny: This low-waisted dark coloured jeans is designed very slim through the hip so that it accentuates your slim sillhouette while lifting your bottom. As with any skinny jeans, the Always skinny jeans will visually add length to your body while defining your slender.

Real Straight: The restructured leg shape will give the illusion of longer and slimmer legs. The low-waisted jeans is also cut close to the hip and thigh to prevent any awkward bunching of denim while moving.

Sexy Boot: The boot cut leg opening gives an impression of longer legs while maintaining an hourglass proportion through the body!

Curvy: This jeans is especially made to cater for those with some curve in their body. The low-waisted jeans will hug closely to the hip and thigh flattering curves with a small boot cut leg opening that will balance your proportions.

Long & Lean: The flared leg jeans is fitted in the hips while looser through the thighs. The result is a long and lean sillhouette!

For men, the Gap 1969 Premium Jeans offers 6 different fits that will complement various shapes and sizes.

Easy: The low-waisted jeans enjoys a loose leg and straight leg opening.

New Loose-“Relaxed”: Like the name goes, this loose-fitting, slim cut jeans will be great for the guy who wants absolute comfort without sacrificing style.

Boot: Low-waisted jeans are given a boot leg opening that will complement the straight leg design to add some visual flair in any outfit.

Straight: The straight leg cut is updated with a slightly lowered front rise and raised back rise for a better fit.

Standard: The classic jeans with the straight leg and straight leg opening continues to remain Gap's most iconic jeans.

Authentic: This is a brand new modern jeans  that is designed with a straight cut and a slim leg opening. The effect is slim-fitted jeans that aren't so tight that they look like all circulation has been cut off.

Each pair of Gap 1969 Premium Jeans retail for RM259. If you think that's a lot to pay, bear in mind that that's 40 years of denim expertise and engineering from a classic company that you're paying for!

ooooohh they look gorgeous!!!

I was born to be an electronics engineer! im currently an undergraduate in UNITEN and will be graduating in two years time. I've always loveeeeeee gadgets; Iphones, Lumix digicams, Vaio lappy, luv 'em! And I want to create more of them for the benefit of mankind..HOWEVER, I'm determined NOT to be the typical nerdy engineer with the thick eyeglasses and bad fashion sense. I keep myself updated with trends that I pick up here and there, especially from TiC!;) I'm really into vintage nowadays, the Chanel-inspired quilted handbag and faux gold jewellery..

Why do i need a pair of new jeans? Coz I have no butt! My behind is flat as a squashed pancake! I loveeee the Always Skinny! I need a cut that will elongate my legs and accentuate my behind. With the Skinny jeans, all I need next is a Wonderbra. harhar.

pick me, pick me! give me the gift of a curvy behind! ;)

xoxo

I would like a pair of this jeans because I trust (and pray) that 40 years of denim expertise and engineering should finally produce a jeans to flatter my unconventionally shaped body.

What were you born to do?
I was born to fit! (;

Why?
I think denim is a girl's best friend! So comfortable, so cool and so versatile!
Don't mess with my favorite pair of blue jeans. I'm sure most folks can relate to me as
they're the fabric of my lives.

What were you born to do?
I was born to be comfortable in my own skin! ( ;

Why?
I think denim is a girl's best friend!
Having said that, this jeans would definitely make me fall in love with it and get my thighs look great and be the envy of my other skinny and boyfriend cuts! Rats, this must be a dream then..

What were you born to do?
I was born to turn dreams into reality.

Why you would like a pair of this jeans?
Because i've spent so many years in search of the perfect pair of jeans and left utterly disappointed and hope that i'm finally left satisfied and of course feeling darn good in one. It is after all an essential need.

i was born to..urmm..
Now? Studying (24-6), military training (24-1), sleeping (24-7?) and dealing with all kind of pains; headache n toothache, n muscles ache every Sunday morning when I woke up.
In the future? Most probably a very busy inglamour chemical engineer with dark circle saggy eyes wearing the same outfit she’s wearing yesterday.

Why you would like a pair of this jeans?

Because....
1. First n foremost, I want to pair it with my newly bought Denim Criss-Cross Gladiator Heels that I’m happily trying out right now walking here n there in my room..hee..

2. I am searching for the best jeans to wear on the day before Raya, which I will fly back to Miri. Why? See no.3

3. Not seeing me for months, I wish to surprise my family, (especially my mom and my sister!). I NEVER wear gorgeous heels like I am wearing now. I went to class with my grendha flip flop, went shopping with my grendha, went to the cinema with my grendha (wow, accidentally in rhyme), went dating with my grendha (yes...), and took a flight home n back here with the same road-munched grendha.OMG.too much grendha story, sorry..=) so the point is actually, I’m jealous with my sister (what???) every time I arrives at the airport, my sis will fetch me n I hate to see what she’s wearing (jealous). Every time I arrive at the very same airport, I’m wearing the same grendha and Levi’s jeans I stole from her wardrobe (yes, I desperately did.2 years ago. She asks me to give it back but I give her a tongue =P) ok, she’s gorgeous, with lots of cash or bf’s cash, lots of heels, lots of makeup stuff, lots of expensive outfit, handbags, and of course, jeans...(she’s only a 11 months older than me, why I’m missing a lot?). So this time when I got back, I want her to see a good looking me, in a new, hot GAP jeans. Not the same one this time, sista! And paired it with the new heels, goodbye grendha...
(Reread this n try replacing grendha with grandma, so cute =P, except the road-munched grandma, I love my grandma ok...)

4. And of course, I’ll wear it to class. I recall this scene that I’m not sure whether he’s asking to know or asking with intention of something ermm.. On that day, I wear my favourite jeans that I stole from my sista (I put it in my luggage without her knowing, the day before I went back to campus, haha) ok, the guy. The handsome-sexy-lips-guy (my course mate actually) ask me, “What kind of Levi’s did u wear? 501? 502?” looking at my jeans. “Errrr...I dunno..This is not mine...I took it from my sista..”, s****d. I can’t believe I actually replied him that. Maybe he realise that I wear the same jeans quite a lot of times. And he wants me to know that he did, realise. But then, if I have that jeans (that GAP jeans), I’ll be just walking in front of him, with a talking jeans, “hi sexy...” haha..I’ll be just smiling and let the jeans do the talking...

5. My mom said I got hot butt and my sis was like, “where is your butt?” (Mom grabbing here and there but found none) sorry sis but u r hot though, hot girl with no butt.haha.sorry again, for stealing your jeans..So now (then, if), I’ll be the hot-butt-girl with hot Always Skinny GAP 1969 Premium Jeans!yay!

6. 5 is enuf aite? =P

i was born to be nude. yes, nude. however, due to the narrow mentality of the world and its constant need to cover what our mammas gave us, i am forced into clothing. but now, thanks to Gap's innovative all shapes fit jeans, I can balance my love for nudity with society's qualms - they work like second skin :)

I was born to (G)et (A)round (P)laces.
I love traveling around. I have been to overseas and now back. But I am MOST proud to say that I have been to all states in Malaysia. Love the culture, love the people, love the food especially. Home is still the best, where the heart belongs ;))

Well, I had really been searching for a pair of jeans since CNY this year. But couldn't get a nice one. So I was left jeans-less this year and mostly be seen on shorts and skirts ;( so I really really hope TiC would make my dreams come true. I'm so sick of shorts already hehe ;)

i was born to flaunt my gift of gap. in a good way, of course. for instance, being an emcee when needed, consoling patients, persuading people to donate for a good cause and making people laugh. =)

everybody owns at least a pair of jeans, except maybe my grandma. =P i would like a pair of this jeans because i want it. WANT it. there's no justification for the inner shopaholic. its impulse. its instinct. its a woman's thing. =D

I was born to live. I was given the precious gift of life that should never be taken lightly or thrown away carelessly.

I would like a pair of these Gap jeans because I am now seventeen years old and I don't wear jeans. At all. I have never been able to find a pair of jeans that simply put, fits. They always either fit my legs or my behind, never both at the same time. I don't own a single pair of jeans and have not worn them since I was a little girl. I'm hoping that this time, these jeans, this contest, will give hope back to this girl who has lost all faith in the one garment everyone else seems to own.

I was born to [G]ive [A]wesome [P]ride.

Being born in a multi-racial country has also made us prove, stand tall and be proud among all the other countries. Thou it’s a fairly small Malaysia, yet we still give our best!. So am born to 'Give Awesome Pride' to my parents, my Malaysia and my world.

I would like a pair of this jeans to show and be proud to be an owner of this Gap 1969 Premium Jeans. Why you may wonder! As being true to it's tag, 'Gap' does fill all the gap by having variety of jeans which fits all shapes, no matter how thin or how curvy you are.
