Charles & Keith Launch @ Mid Valley (KL)
Malaysians first got a taste of Singaporean brand Charles & Keith back in July 2008 when the brand first landed in a store at Pavillion. It seems our appetite for well-made trendy shoes has been absolutely insatiable! The latest extension of the store, not just any simple boutique mind you, but the largest Charles & Keith boutique in the world is now opened at Mid Valley Megamall. Yesterday I went over to see for myself all 3,300 square feet of glorious shoe heaven.
The boutique in MidValley boasts an impressive collection of the brand's famous footwear as well as accessories. Shoes in every colour, type, style and shape grab your attention as you first walk in.
When you get to the back of the store, your attention will wander again as an array of belts, bags and sunglasses compete for your already splintered attention.
In line with the opening of this ground-breaking store, there was a showcase of Charles & Keith Fall/Winter Collection 09. Featuring a lot of earthy rich colours like brown, black and bronze, the collection captured the sombre but mysterious mood of the colder months.

All the bags have lots of lush material with details to make the bags really pop and make sure all eyes are on you!

If you can't tell already, I fall pretty hard for the shiny, colourful shoes with detailing! ;P While the shoes were indeed the epitome of style, the guests were no slack either! Here are some style shots I took yesterday.
