NEW Diana Mini Lomo Camera (MY)
Being a camera enthusiast, I was ecstatic when it was announced that the Diana F+ Glow in the Dark would be available at all Mooks outlets, and noted it down on my Must-Have List! Now, I'm having a hard time choosing between two, as The Lomographic Society will be bringing in the petite younger sister of the Diana, the Diana Mini. Although tinier in size, its features are certainly up to par with its older sibling.

Handy-sized, half-frame cameras were a hit in the '60s, but soon lost their popularity as other 35mm cameras became more compact. The Diana Mini is capable of fitting an amazing amount of 72 shots into one roll of 35mm film, and also provides its user with the option of switching to another rare format - the square on 35 mm - in an instant! So you can snap away without the hassle of changing films everytime you change file formats.

Also, due to its cute and fun-sized nature, it'd also be a great fashion accessory. :) Like all its predecessors, the Diana Mini produces soft, blurry, retro, dream-like images - capturing pictures in a unique, whimsical and unpredictable way.

For more information on the Diana Mini and other members of the Diana family, you can read it up at the Lomography website. The Diana Mini will be released internationally today (20th August) and will be sold at the Lomographic Embassy Malaysia in early September, retailing at RM230.
