The No Plastic Bag Bazaar
The Recyclists are back once again with their second installment of the No Plastic Bag Bazaar! Held in the heart of KL, the unique and environmentally-conscious bazaar certainly differs from others out there, with a variety of green and pre-loved items for sale, celebrity-donated items up for auction, a Pet Adoption drive, raffle draws, and the involvement of Threadszoo. In fact, Tongue in Chic will be there too with our Chic Charity booth!
Aimed at educating and promoting a greener lifestyle, all proceeds will be donated to charity funds, including the Furry Friends Farm (FFF) and the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS).
Custom-made exclusive Fashion Recyclists freesize T-shirts and "racerback recycled cloth bags" will be sold at the event. It's a project done in collaboration with DILLIC (Do I Look Like I Care) and Threadszoo to aid in raising more funds from the event. :)
Rip it, style it, alter it, and work it to make it your own - T-shirts are going for RM25 while the racerbacks will be sold for RM20.

Us at Tongue in Chic are also mighty excited about the bazaar, because we'll be having yet another installment of Chic Charity there! You know the drill - bring along clothes that you don't wear anymore (but you know some other girl would wear!), and we'll sell it away for RM5-RM15, with all proceeds going to Furry Friends Farm (FFF) and the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS).
This way, you can find new owners for clothes you don't want anymore and hunt for great (and cheap!) bargains - all for a good cause, too!
