Monster Shoes

I’ve begin to suspect that my sudden lack of moolah has a lot to do with the current wave of ‘Monster Shoes’ in the market of late. By ‘Monster Shoes’ I mean kick arse, hooker-esque, fierce-as-hell slash, cut throat shoes that have been making constant appearances on the runways and streets this year round; all together killing our humble pockets in the feistiest possible manner. Boo hoo.

Who’s to blame but we hungry predators waiting for the next fierce shoe boot to come knocking on our doors. Sad to say, not many of us claim that resistance factor to shy away from these ‘Monsters’. So instead, we splurge… and we splurge even more. That way, we get to double up on our own satisfaction and triple plaster that gleeful smile on our faces. Plus, one won’t deny how much gratification they get from that string full of envy stares while they strut down the streets feeling like a million bucks! Monsters wearing ‘Monster shoes’ much?

I’m definitely one of those Monsters, and here are a few that I’ve been preying on:

Burberry Studded T-bar sandals

Fitflop Aurelia Gladiator sandals

Sergio Rossi 2 tone sandals

Giuseppe Zanotti Leather Shoe Boot

Jeffrey Campbell Jaya Sandals

Fendi Suede Shoe Boots

Miu miu peep-toe Mary-Janes

fierce and candy to the eyes but fierce and painful to the feet
i can no longer handle super high heel shoes
and wearing a 3 inches heel to shopping for only an hour was like walking thru fire lit pathway
i swore off heels while shopping long time ago!
i blame it on old age -_-
but dem looking at these shoes, am having shoes orgasm o_O
these shoes are only meant for getting in/out of the car, sitting and walking a distance of no more than 5 metres

i share your pain, joanne.

i've never understood how girls go shopping in heels. and i partly envy them, because it means they actually get good wear out of their heels!

i'm always eyeing killer heels and then thinking, "when the hell will i ever wear them?"

lisha: i too envy these girls coz u gotta admit, wearing heels sure does makes u look nicer in an attire unless u are one supatall lady. in fact, the no-no to killer heels extends to work too. i wear heels of 4 inches to work but i change into flip-flops in the office and i walk in them around the office. banyak unglam!! think flip flops with business suit or pencil skirt or high waisted slouchy pants or a dress. but comfort rules!

joyce: its true!! the stinging pain at the sole. ouchhhhh

i know i know, but sometimes you gt bear the pain and it goes away. like the shoe accepts and takes to you (gawd i'm blabbering crap and giving excuses on why painful shoes are acceptable)

joanne: ah well, at least u make the effort to wear heels to the office. hehe. i don't even bother.

joyce: i'm allergic to pain. haha. so unless i've got alcohol to numb it, i stick to my flats. =p

one day, when someone figures out how to fuse comfort and killer heels, i will probably them *everywhere*, even to sleep!

fierce to the eye and to the feet as well but i just cannot resist. just looking at em' makes you wanna have em'. unfortunately, i can't exactly wear very high heels because i'm already so tall. see, it's all good being tall. and some high heels are really gorgeous!!!
